Eric Jacobsen & Friends is an annual celebration of chamber music brilliance, bringing together an extraordinary lineup of musicians for an unforgettable evening. This year's ensemble features a quartet of gifted virtuosi: violinist Simone Porter, violist Kyle Armbrust, cellist Eric Jacobsen, and pianist Benjamin Hochman, performing music that highlights the intimate charm and enduring power of the chamber genre. Works to be played are Mozart’s two piano quartets, Jessie Montgomery’s Peace for viola and piano; Reena Esmail’s Drishti for solo violin, and the world premiere arrangement for piano quartet of Lila Meretzky’s Agon.
